Ya.
The guy on the pole got some serious lag.

His controller probably disconnected.

Love the fact that they have a Testarossa as a track car. Also I'm in my first season of F1 2012 and have gotten one 3rd place so far. It sucks that even though I'm running rich fuel with no downforce those god dam Red Bulls come up on me like I'm driving Pinto...

I hate it when the batteries die right at the start of a race!

Two thoughts:
1) Bitchin' 348.
2) In this modern world of no-expense-spared motorsports, are we really still using a natural twig witches broom to brush carbon fiber off of racetracks ?

Ya. That's one of the most beautiful ferrari ever!
Nah, i'm stop playing it for now. It's stupidly hard when you don't have a controller or steering.

Ya, it's amazing to see the car running very well.
And yes, maybe because they're underpaid.
*The white car is indonesian btw, judging from it's pertamina decal. I hope it's not Rio Haryanto's car.

Welcome to Monza, where cutting cost is an art form.
To be honest, I'm still impressed they still race on that track, their way of cutting cost caused them to have a "few casualties" during the '60's and '70's.

Speaking of casualties, or the potential for them, is that a wheel that goes flying into the pits (middle of the screen at 13-14 seconds in)?

I believe it is.

No wheel tethers then, or they didn't work if there were any. It almost looks like the tire debeads from the wheel when it is going over the catch fence, which is a bit strange. Slightly off-topic, but is it just me, or are there an awful lot of first-corner pileups in GP3?

Well, yeah but you have to be aware that they are quite short races, with cars that are roughly the same. And the drivers are really "pushed" to be in front because they want to end up in F1.

Yeah, the fact that the drivers have got this far means that they're all going to have a fair amount of talent, but the pressure to excel (to get noticed, attract sponsorship, and keep moving up categories) must be immense, so they're likely running closer to their own limits than in many other categories. The fact that they're likely still pretty young and honing their racecraft in slicks-and-wings cars could have an impact too, possibly.
